ជំរាបសួរ,
Welcome back everyone to my weekly posts, hope everyone's still doing wonderful as usual and . This week has been a pretty adventurous week and topped off with many wonderful counsels and testimonies from General Conference loved them throughout this week! Unfortunately everyone, my Camera still works, takes, and keeps pictures but can't really post them up due to a virus in my camera and chip....*sigh* not fun, so hopefully I could get my camera fixed by office Elders around next transfer then so... transfers call's coming around this upcoming weekend. Hopefully I can upload back up some pictures then. However, I can just share some more experiences how things are going as I continued to serve here in Kampong Cham sooo here we go!:
Last Tuesday: On this day we had an opportunity to go to a super far part of our area called Chuuk it's my first time going to that part of that area on that time. So the reason why went was because a member of the 3rd branch really wants his family to learn about the gospel but they live around our area to the farthest part of our area where it's around a Rubber Plantation. And so we went out with to actually see if they are truly willing to start learning about Christ and what we teach and as me and Elder Hunt traveled along with a tuk-tuk driver that's 2nd counselor of the Branch Presidency of Branch 2 of Kampong Cham (Poo Saruan) with the guy from 3rd Branch named Bong Dy. Unfortunately, as we visited the following members of his family, they've lacked desire to learn of Christ because they're strongly into Buddhism, Elder Hunt knows the obvious that they didn't want to learn about the gospel, when I kinda went off on sharing testimony that Christ is our savior and then Elder Hunt bored The Book of Mormon explains about God and Christ on top of that Look Poo Saruan even extend invitation for them that if they read of the Book of Mormon or have questions they can ask us when we visit them next time... hopefully. Then after inviting his family members to Christ we went to the Sister's recent convert's birthday party. Oh yeah on top of that Branch 1 sisters needs to go there to meet their recent convert of her birthday in Chuuk they made curry...Yum. (Prayerfully, I hope Bong Dy's family will open to what me and Elder Hunt teaches and what Bong Dy knows so they can receive true salvation in their lives. We'll see. Was fun and tough day even though we went to a very far part of the area.)
Last Wednesday: This day was full of doing service to be honest so throughout this day we were cleaning a Ohm's home like from last post which is Ohm Janton, soo much garbage to clean up. Her house was full of cockroaches and ant colonies wasn't a gorgeous site but we were getting her cleaned up as much as needed. After lunch, we helped a Returned Missionary formerly named Elder Ty! We just helped pulled weeds from his family new home, I which I thinks moved from Toul San Ke to Kampong Cham... fantastic. Alright after REAN English Class (this class session was as me and Elder Hunt tag along with each other to teach English and Elder Slaven and Elder Hall shared a spiritual thought about Prophets - specifically inviting them to general conference coming in this weekend!) we had contacted a potential investigator name Tong who's Chinese, but knows a lot of Khmer and wants learn about what we teach about in this church! So we met each other on the next which I will explain then.
Last Thursday: After weekly planning, before we met with Tong we met up with Bong Ni and Sal again to just review Baptismal Questions with them which was fun and we just took time help remind them on small parts of what we taught them so they can remember the importance of they know from us, and Heavenly Father concerning the restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ! They've been reading their scriptures and praying everyday since the start from us teaching them, they're doing so awesome! Love them! And so we met with Tong on his 1st time learning about the Church, how'd that go? It was pretty nice meeting him familiarizing himself about what we teach starting to learn about the Restoration, and so we committed him to read the Book of Mormon and pray to Heavenly Father if what we're sharing is true or better yet if the Book of Mormon is a word of God. I seriously love doing missionary work along with all of my companions no matter how tough the task is. It's amazing how truly the gift of tongues works along with me and Elder Hunt as we take time to serve here! Whoo!
Last Friday: Okay throughout this day we had Zone Training, which was fun and uplifting. Also, help us figure out how can we become a lot more effective missionaries as we serve in our areas with in the Zone. After lunch, me and Elder Hunt went to the island again to visit Look Poo Sokhon (Khon) to share a spiritual thought with him and invite/ remind him about General Conference through the weekend. Same idea was suppose to go along with Look Poo Piara but he wasn't there but we gave his wife his envelope to invite him to General Conference as well!
Throughout this weekend we watched General Conference at "the great Neakming"'s home along with other Elders and Sisters that needs to listen to Conference in English.
Okay everyone, the main spiritual experience I would love to share at this time is we all have mistakes if our lives that we regret right? So I heard a lot of counsels from General Conference aboutrepentance or have a change of heart. Plus, coming to church each and every Sunday and keeping theSabbath day Holy by coming to church to partake of the sacrament. How does these two following things that are underlined relates? Simple, in every church meeting the sacrament helps us remind what are we are committed as we're members of God's true church which is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when coming to church every Sunday I testify that it's crucial for each of us to remember our Savior's atonement and what that done for us when we partake of the sacrament, when we partake of the sacrament worthily it cleanses us from our sins in our lives that's if we are willing take upon the name of Jesus Christ, always remember and keep His Commandment that are given us that we may always have His spirit to be with them! I testify that for each and everyone one of us it's never to late to repent we can change now, attend church with real intent don't just go through the motions! I promise that as we do these things we'll have peace in our hearts everyday in our lives! I love the testimonies bored by the current new apostles! Look it us from this link and you'll see what I mean.: https://www.lds.org/ prophets-and-apostles/unto- all-the-world/called-to- testify?lang=eng
As anyone can see from all I typed I am doing phenomenal as usual, still working as diligent as necessary. I need to blast but stay fantastic and blessed! Missionary Work isn't a easy task, but it's all worth doing! So long will be typing next week. (Will be deep cleaning our apartment tonight and tomorrow so that'll be fun!)
សូមជំរាបលា!,

“I plead with you to avoid anything that will deprive you of your happiness here in mortality and eternal life in the world to come. … How vital it is that we exercise constant vigilance in order to avoid giving in to Satan’s lies and temptations.”
"If any of you has stumbled in his journey, I assure you that there is a way back. The process is called repentance. Although the path is difficult, your eternal salvation depends on it. … I plead with you to determine right here and now to take the steps necessary to fully repent.” - President Thomas S. Monson
