សូមជំរាបសួរ,

What's up everyone Happy Easter in advance! I am doing wonderful so far in Steung Mean Chey Ward 3 serving around Trash Mountain itself with Elder Reeves. For this post I'll just give some highlight of how'd this week to make this post straight forward as necessary.

So on Last Tuesday where still doing our usual best that all missionaries do which is consistently contact all over the place than all of a sudden we found a new investigator his name is Pii or in other words literal English ...2. Later on Elder Reeves and Elder Beckstead in an exchange managed to showed up and taught him how to pray on Friday while I was in an exchange with Elder Beckstead, this contacted potential investigator isn't the brightest yet, or completely opened to start learning about the Gospel but we'll see about it later on this transfer! "Don't see them as who they are, see them as who they can become" an Area 70 ounce said! It's rare to find a investigator right off contacting, but we'll see how he'll do!

On Last Thursday we met a new investigator from one of our recent converts name Bong Kiery, very interesting investigator very open to learn about God from Srei Pov one of our investigators! A excellent first lesson now we're hoping to see if he can starting practicing praying in real intent as we gave him the Book of Mormon! Because the true source of truth is God!

REAN English Class was fun from last Wednesday! Me and Elder Reeves taught Advanced Class again! Was a little tricky but fun to teach some Enlgish! Mainly we discuss about several body parts to help those learning further more in English expand their vocab! Then we had an awesome spiritual thought!

On Friday I had an exchange on St. Patricks Day with Elder Morgan which was fun! While serving with him I apparently contacted actual Filipino people from the Philippines what's kinda funny is they do look similar to Khmer people which was interesting! Hahaha! I love this mission! Members over here are great!

I am sure so of you may ask how's the Khmer speaking going.... the answer to that is it's still growing, still lots of unique words to learn, and I still have an accent I can't really hide.... but hey! I can speak and preach the Gospel in Khmer that's all I seem to care about whether I speak clear or not at least I still have a strong passionate loving heart that's enough to keep sharing what I know will help us spiritually and physically to!

Church's still okay, Elder Woo showed up in Church! (An Area 70!) Shared very straight forward remarks as he came and visited!  I am still hoping some more members in Ward 3 will just sacrifice time to come to the source of peaces which is Church every Sunday soon! We'll see!

To break it all down!:I just send this out General Conference is coming soon, mark your calendars! April 2nd-3rd! (I'll probably watch it another week do to recording and sending it to this mission!) Plus, DON'T forget able Easter or better translation I found in the Bible Dictionary the "passover" when Chirst's Resurrected enable for us to be resurrected after this life! I testify that Jesus Christ is truly our savior. God showed us his love by providing us a Savior named Jesus Christ! I know he loves us and I know my redeemer!  I got to dash out in a bit but just to let you all know I am still doing great in this great cause! I love my divine heritage still!

Stay fantastic and blessed will be sending another post next week! Hope for the best! Me and Elder Reeves got this! #ROVES Have a marvelousEASTER!!!!!

P.S.Why is General Conference important for us to listen and watch? The answer is ....

"Behold, my brethren, he that prophesieth, let him prophesy to the understanding of men; for the Spirit speaketh the truth and lieth not. Wherefore, it speaketh of things as they really are, and of things as they really will be; wherefore, these things are manifested unto us plainly, for the salvation of our souls. But behold, we are not witnesses alone in these things; for God also spake them unto prophets of old." - Jacob4:13

Was tricky to shove all of us in this selfie but I made it work! #FHE (Last Monday!)

Exchanges with the one and only Elder Morgan. (Serving in Ward 1 for the day!)😎

This is Elder Woo from Singapore! I met him few times already in this mission! (Translated for an area 70 for 1st time for the last 2 hours of Church....yep.)

How does anyone not want to come to the Rean English Program or learn about the Gospel with us? They can't resist this! Hahaha!

សូមជំរាបសួរ,

Happy St. Patrick's Day in advance! .... Hmmmm saying that in advance made me trunky because my hometown definitely celebrates this holiday! Hehe! Hope you all around enjoy your Shamrock Shakes over and Root Beer over there! So last weeks been fun! Here how'd it all went:

Last Tuesday, I had a mini exchange with Elder Rom for a while so on that time me and him visited a Bong/ Neakming named Ren who's Less-Active, had no idea who she is (Note: Elder Reeves was in a meeting for a while.) actually met to visit for my first time because I am still very new in the area so me and him met her shared a Spiritual Thought about Praying oftenly and helped encouraging to come back to church it was a nice and simple lesson and there was misunderstand had to fix a bit to let her know about us and let her know that we are truly there whether's anything we can do to serve! Later on we continue to talk and invite many to learn about Christ for a while  then we met with a Bong named Bong Sothea just help him read his scriptures and study it often! Other than we met with a Bong named Srei Pov to help her completely understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

Last Wednesday, on this day we met a Look Poo named Bol along with wife to teach them about obedience they're nicest Less-Actives ever we're just encouraging them to become more obedient, then later on we met with a Neakming named Soka who's been doing great still remaining faith by showing up to church and being more prayerful! REAN English Program was fun I get to teach a little bit in the Advanced Class using pure English... yeah hahaha we just taught them about manners and the class turned out to be super funny! Yep Good stuff and we present a Spiritual Thought about Repentance along with Elder Morgan!

Last Thursday, we were following up with a potentially new investigator that I "nack chuabed" (scheduled to meet)  on Thrusday along with Elder Reeves sadly didn't happen but next time it'll work out! After weekly planning, we went out to contacting some people about the Gospel and then we manage to meet with a long term Less-Active named Bong Dee who's tricky to help him come back to church because seems like he's been doing bad stuff as him and his wife were members.... not fun to see them fall but it's worth to help them come back to Christ!

On Friday we had Zone Training! Which has been full of awesome stuff to know what we can do to help this Zone in our areas a lot better to keep improving! On that day if you guys want to scrolled down we helped a less active count a bunch of Bananas Chips from a packing machine which was crazy, stressful, but fun to do this service activity! Hahaha!

Saturday, we met with one our investigators named Dara who does like to speak English as sometimes, but obviously rather listen in his native language, met him and explained to him about God's Plan! The throughout the day we continues to do some contacting around our portion of the city which is fun to do here and there! Passing out cards and letting all know who we are what we love to do each day! Then lastly, we participated in a Family Home Evening with the Belchers a senior couple that finished their mission a long time ago! Which was fun! I get to help translate in Khmer to English as me, Elder Reeves, and Ward 3 Sisters share a spiritual thought! Fun stuff!

Sunday, church's been excellent 2 week withOUT having to have help do the sacrament because Young Mens in the other ward's been willing to help fulfill the sacrament for Church which I am thankful for them to practice there priesthood duties! During church I get to translate for the Belchers and the Oveson throughout Church which is fun but a little complicated at times but fun over all!

And so I testify, that if we keep sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the restoration many of those who longed for truth will feel truly grateful! I love my mission, I am still going strong despite the obstacles I go through here with Elder Reeves. I love my newest companion Elder Reeves, we're still doing our best together. I know what we can do in this area is doable and can be handled! With God all things are possible! Love you all! Stay fantastic and BLESSED!

P.S. AGAIN - If any of my cousins are reading this (if possible) if you know anyone that wants to learn with me and Elder Reeves in Steung Mean Chey Ward 3 about Jesus Christ and His Gospel that lives around here let them know about us! Thanks a ton! I still love to serve my divine heritage I know that this Gospel really helps us for real!

The following are scripture I would love to share for this post!

"double minded man is unstable in all his ways." James 1:8

"Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him." James 1:12

"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." James 1:17

សូមជំរាបសួរ,
First of All I want to give a swift shout to my Mother who just turned 61 for about 5 days ago! Ahhh Happy Birthday Mommy! Love you!
Well I don't have too much to write on this post but I can simply tell what happened right off the bat last week. This transfer get weirder and weirder, but fun here are some details:

I might as well admit, from last Tuesday I was featured along with my companion Elder Reeves to participate in a outtake in a Khmer Music Video ....I kinda regret it trust me! Other than that me and Elder Reeves after District Meeting and stuff, we went on contacting other people around our area despite how small it is. Still taking care of our investigators over here like a kid name Narin who's a brother of a recent convert Alika that LOVES to speak English which is fine. It's been fun and hard in the same time in this area but it's worth the shot for me and Elder Reeves and Me to serve here doing the best we can here. Also, on that day we met a really guy translated to English is Paul who's a pastor himself, see what had happened was we taught him a Lesson about the restoration of the Gospel and the reason why we have the Book of Mormon today, turns out to be a awesome experience for all of us to share with each other of how we have The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints today. That's big high I like to reveal about how fun it is to serve here! Yeah!

In Last Wednesday, REAN English Program was great lots of participants in this area, I was a Host for Attendance so I couldn't tell much details of what happened in REAN except me and Elder Beckstread shared a spiritual thought about Prayer, which I believed came out fine as we share out thoughts in our message just so it can get across at least! During the day we also took out Garbage as a service project, lots of bizarre garbage to take out around some parts of Steung Mean Chey!

Last Thursday, we did the service project again except without the proselyting clothes because of course it's a Dirty Job (Service Project)! After that, we just  continue working basically around close to Garbage Mountain visiting members seeing if they're alright!

Last Friday, highlight of it is we help Paul start reading the Book of Mormon! Yep!

Last Saturday... I'll just explain that we meet with a lot of investigator on that day which was fun we even started teaching a Look Poo who we contacted out of no where while proselyting named Toal! Who I called in accident to call another investigator but ALL IS WELL! Hahaha!

Church was great! Still needs a lot of work! I love each and every member that bore testimony last Sunday certain members especially the Bishop still going strong love it!
Well this is all I want to write for this week's post! Gotta get going fast! God bless each of you and Stay Fantastic! Time to back back serving around the dumps! HAHAAAAA!

P.S. If any of my cousins are reading this (if possible) if you know anyone that wants to learn with me and Elder Reeves in Steung Mean Chey Ward 3 about Jesus Christ and His Gospel that lives around here let them know about us! Thanks a ton! I still love to serve my divine heritage I know that this Gospel really helps us for real!

"For behold, thus saith the Lord God: I will give unto the children of men line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little and there a little; and blessed are those who hearken unto my precepts, and lend an ear unto my counsel, for they shall learn wisdom; for unto him that receiveth I will give more; and from them that shall say, We have enough, from them shall be taken away even that which they have."- 2 Nephi 28:30

This is what the Steung Mean Church Building looks like! Looks pretty big right?

This is one the way anyone know when Elder Ros was here. (Just can't stop working hard in the mission especially updating!)

When Steung Mean Chey Missionaries do random service projects for 2 days. There needs to be a selfie! #TakingOutTheWarmTrash

ជំរាបសួរ,
What's it up my beloved friends, and families! I am here sending this post from Steung Mean Chey and I have alot to shared about what has happened since I arrived to serve in the 3rd Ward. Haha! Here I go!:

Well, where can I start? .....So I arrive at a super gorgeous apartment not having any idea where did I just transferred to. Then later on the adventure begins with visiting some members already introducing myself to some members, I love meeting although some aren't so active in the church, later on from last Wednesday just to type that up in advance REAN English Program in Steung Mean Chey was super fun, but kinda hectic. I came across just help the participants read and answer some questions of how to pronounce some words (this is Intermediate Class brethren and sisters this bigger than serving a group in Bakou of course.) Then later on I help Elder Beckstead share his spiritual thought translating from English to Khmer which is kinda tricky but we made it work! Hahaha!

After weekly planning in Thursday, we still continue to visit some members are in-active and then later on this day we met a new investigator his name's Narin, he's another kid but he's a brother of our recent converts Alika! Smart, and funny kid! I love serving in this area already. Then after that we just contact all around town! HA!

Last Friday's been the most unique day I ever experience in my mission "see what had happened was" as we met some more members around the area, contact some more and came to a Lunch appointment with a member from the International Branch in this mission in Cambodia who's Kenyan her name's Ang. Me, Elder Reeves, and the 1st Ward Elders met her at Pizza Company in Steung Mean Chey, she's one of the most unique members I ever met out of my entire life here's what happened as we came just to have pizza with her as she explained about her life and other unique problems she realized that we didn't order water and so she wonders where the closest grocery stores is we point it out, but then we told her to not worry about but she refused she went out for about ten minutes as we are about to have pizza she came back to sooo much stuff for us.... such as 4 quarts of Sunkist Apple Juice, so many packages of Mi Goreng and other random stuff even ice cream....it's by far the most random thing I ever experience and I just arrived in SMC... *shrugs*. Anyways after that we spent time helping the Sisters who serves in our areas to help them know the members since both of the Sisters are white washing! Whoo! Then after we just talk with several people about the Church and invite some to learn with us which was fun!

Last Saturday, we met with a couple new investigators in my perspective, happy to see that they want to learn and understand about the Church! 😎
Then we did visit more members especially those who are working on coming back to church oftenly and further we went all over the place talking to more random more people about the Gospel!

Church yesterday was ... good isn't the absolute best, had to bless the sacrament the 2nd time ever in Khmer throughout my experience, attendance wasn't too strong, but me and Elder Reeves are willing to still keep at it! I love each of the member who I approached last Sunday. It's amazing that a couple of members who I approached had even lost an arm or leg are still remaining active in the church better than any member I met already! My goodness I actually love this area well, I'll need to run fast because I'll 300 times more busier although the areas small it needs a lot of work done here I'm excited and happy to serve in this new area even around Garbage/ Trash Mountain! Still taking out the trash all day every day in this transfer. Note: The church building is a lot bigger than my last area I finished serving!! Here I gooooo!
