សួស្ដី!,
Welcome to my final post of my missionary experience in Cambodia! Where lies my final experiences in my mission! *sigh* Still not believing it's all over, knowing that missions are definitely quick!

Geez, my final week's been weird and crazy knowing that me and Elder Rom has been given more Agency in the mission since General Authorities including Apostles allowing the entire mission using our agency to choose for ourselves of what's best in anyone's proselyting area! It's been fun.

Getting to the detail I had a chance to meet with a unique investigator known as Bong Samon, could've been an awesome recent if he chooses to. We met him last Tuesday and shared with him about the gospel and all of sudden we invited him to a baptismal date this weekend. He dared to accept it but unfortunate throughout the week he didn't remain committed to his baptismal date throughout this week it's been a disappointment but it takes a ton of patient when it comes to helping investigators to actually progressing especially even getting them to simply show up to church.

As I leave off this mission I still hold this testimony like I held to the iron rod like ALL of the time! I testify that if we CHOOSE to come closer to Christ and his teachings we can actually see the joy from it. I faced times when it hard to get a investigator to meet up with us, but yet they show up to church! I had to admit, missionary work isn't easy and I was glad that it never was why?

Because Salvation is never a cheap experience like what Elder Holland has shared, if we just simply pay attention to the gospel of Jesus Christ when the opportunity is right there when it's right on front of your face, why not take the advantage to sticking with the commitments given by men with white shirts with ties?

I loved my mission and I kid you all not! I am not a retired missionary when I comeback in fact I'll just become a "Better" Johnny Ros because there's so much, that I wished I could keep doing that's so good even before my mission and now I am coming back to remain the missionary that I was and what God needed me to be. I don't just know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true just because it is, I studied a unanimous that's just right there it's just a huge question for each and everyone of us on earth on what the heck do actually prioritized on. I am still glad that I made a choice to serve a mission and I done my best! I loved living the time when I know for myself that it's possible to live the "missionary dream"! And I lived! I loved being a missionary and when I come back to Syracuse, NY I sure hope that my home ward is ready with a note book and pencil, pen - something to write with because I surely have a lot to share from my mission experience.

There's no other place I rather be other than to do what I did for at least 2 years ago, I know that serving a mission is worth it, I done what I thought is impossible and although I completed my mission in the Cambodia Phnom Penh mission.... it's still not over yet in my life. Watch out everybody បង ប្រុស Ros is debuting as soon as Elder Ros becomes released! Here I come everybody! Oh how excited I am excited to see my family after the quick 2 years that has happened in my life! Geez, I'll type this once more ... I don't want to go!

I would love to bare appreciation to my ward family in Syracuse, NY from doing all they can to keep me in this mission especially keeping me in their prayers if it weren't for them I wouldn't possibly make the choice to stay and serve in this mission rather. Goodness sakes I was glad I never gave up and quit my mission! I regret nothing from making the choice to serve a mission and I surely hope for the best when I return! Love you and God bless each of you so much who follows up in my post. Well this is it ... again here I come very soon! AHHHH! 😭😂

សួស្ដី!,
Hey everybody, this P-day's a super quicker one and I about done with my mission it's unbelievable and I don't want to go why? Because I loved my mission no matter the hardships I been through here! The work in Chomkarmon's been a ton of fun! We have a ton of new investigator in our pool now that me and Elder Rom applied to Elder Oak's inputs in the Worldwide Missionary Training we watched last Saturday! It's been fun! I would love to bare testimony that 2 years of anyone's life in a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ's worth doing!

Dang missions go by fast I'll miss this mission so much and Zone Conference's in the corner goodness sakes brethren and sisters! It's been an awesome journey in this mission. I learned a lot from my final companion Elder Rom he's taught a truck load about the culture that I wished I knew before I head to the MTC, but it's okay, because it's never to late to remain teachable and apply the teachings one receives for the rest of our lives.
I am still taking good care of our beloves brothers in this area, there's so much to do there's so little time! Ahhhhh! Hahaha! Well, I need to head out soon! I love you and thank you all so much for praying from me and Elder Rom it means a lot to us here!
Well, got to head out soon, The Ultimate Ending Post is coming soon. Oh.....Oh gosh! For real Brethren and Sister, the heck just happened in my life. Miracles happened that's what because of the choice I made to serve a mission because I still love our Father in Heaven and our Savior Jesus! People can think I am crazy all they want but I am grateful to have the time to serve me and Elder Rom's divine heritage here in Cambodia! We witness so many miracles in our mission! I love this mission...Ohhhh how wonderful this missions means to me! 😇😁
Shout out for Elder Burnett from last Thursday to Friday when we had the exchange in Chomkarmon! Plus, shout out for East Zone Elders and Sisters including South Zone Brethren that did a big service project in Chbaar Ampoev!

សួស្ដី!,

I am still doing okay in this mission. There isn't much I like to share in this other than the fact that me and Elder Rom are still working strong despite personality differences we're still trying hard here are more details:

In Tuesday, we visited a recent convert known as Bong Reaksa, we're still doing our best to him it's a struggle from circumstance from where he's but we'll keep it up with him. Later on we visited Om Sophal, I just love reading scriptures with members, as we keep reading with him up to Chapter 5 in 1st Nephi. Later on we were working on our new investigator known as Bong Samon who knows English fairly well. He's going through a lot of stuff as well as he's investigating about the church.

We also met with Bong Korn, an active member that's always willing to meet with us we were going to teach him or help him work on his family history, but we realized or found out that it was closed but that's okay because we shared scriptures that talk about Lehi's dream and we're we're pushing not only him but other brethren to keep using the priesthood power that's restored! Because using the using Priesthood to administer God's work is super important.

Last Wednesday REAN English Program was alright, before that we met up with Bong Chan Thorn to share about the stripping warrior and Helaman, tagging along with that we encouraged him to fulfill his calling as Young Mens President. (We're having Mutuals restored again in the stake/district.)

2 more highlights I like to share is:

I made a return on an exchange to serve in Steung Mean Chey 3 for one day after me and Elder Rom's weekly planning for Chomkarmon. I had an opportunity to serve with Elder Scheifer from Arizona and Lackey from ....darn I forgot. I witnessed very hard working missionaries working hard in one of the smallest areas in the entire mission, it was very impressive for the both of them to develop a ton of investigators here regardless of the difficulty of less-active members. God bless those 2! I loved serving in Steung Mean Chey 3 don't get me wrong as I serve with Elder Reeves, however what I regret during that time in my mission is I wish I just simply have way beyond unconditional love for all of the members there whether they are less active or not in the church.

Elder Rom mastered that quicker than I did, but I am working on it today. *sigh* I still doing my best in this mission. I still hope for the best for all of me and Elder Rom's investigators including Om Lot and his kids, I loved visiting them and teaching them as a family.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is actually easier to apply when it's follow as a individual family. Testify that if don't take the restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for granted I guaranteed that the joy we have about being a member of the true church will remain with us and surely we want to keep that conversion! I got to dash back to missionary soon! Big stuff's coming soon. HA! Actually Big stuff already happened last week such as 2 area 70s came over to our mission to share with Ward/ Branches including ours now as Elder Woo and Elder Funk! They were awesome.

We're still keeping a good eye to another one of our recent convert known as Bong Roatha he's getting a good streak already on making it to church receiving more blessings on receiving more knowledge and doctrines about how we can continue to make our choices and how's free agency's a gift. I testify if we continue to make the choice to continue to follow the teachings of this church we can see our joy of remaining a member in Christ church. I can't really deny my testimony I developed especially in my mission! The love in my mission is still, I appreciate each and everyone of you that keeps me in your prayers. Missions are NEVER easy, and I maybe crazy for typing but I am grateful for difficulty. (That I can grow and learn a lot.) I learn a lot from many members as I served in this mission especially the people I contacted whether it's in English or Khmer. Whatever. I even love the culture as well, thanking Elder Rom. Well got to head God bless you all and stay fantastic!

P.S. Last Tuesday, we attempted a BEATCHYATEACHYA moment, this method of contact was actually effective I think me and Elder Rom may want to keep that up here in this area it actually works.

សួស្ដី!,

Welcome back to my post brethren and sisters. I don't have too much to share concerning how things are going in my mission with Elder Rom we're just doing what we're suppose to do as Zone Leaders. I don't have much news yet about how the Branch Chomkarmon's going all we know is that we have a new Branch Presidency, and we're excited to serve with along with other members.

I still love my mission and it's great to be alive and back serving in Chamkarmon after the Siem Reap trip it was fantastic and fun going around Psahh Ritrei and stuff with my group from the MTC training! :D

We're still working on Om Lot, Bong He, Dina, the list can go on as the list potential good souls prepare themselves to recieve blessing on converting to become a Latter-day Saint someday. I am trying hard to prevent myself from being trunky because knowing I don't have much time Elder Rom and I are trying very hard on helping other brothers and sisters come back to church!

We're in the time of the mission that the Chomkarmon Branch worships around 8AM in the morning.... WHO DOESN"T WANT TO GO TO MORNING CHURCH. I testify that if we take the advantages of worshipping God and follow the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the joy  and love will be felt inside our hearts.

I am glad that I am missionary that never quits his mission! I love my mission and I WILL END STRONG SEE YOU ALL AT THE OTHER SIDE SOON BUT NOT TOO SOON AT ALL YOU ALL KNOW!? Hahaha!:)LOVE YOU ALL, GOD BLESS YOU AND STAY FANTASTIC!
